-- Competitive teams are formed through a tryout process. Tryouts
are held at different times of the year depending on age and level
of play.

- Late May - SELECT TEAMS U12-U19

- Are playups allowed? -- Yes playups are invited

-- The players total fees (SSC Club Fee + SpVJSA Registration

-- The approximate 2007/2008 breakout for the SSC Elite Club

- Do I have to live in the Spokane
Valley to tryout for Spokane SC Competitive Team?
-- No, any player may tryout for our competitive program.
- Are there any extra trainer or
coaching fees? -- This depends on whether your team is
in the SSC Elite or SSC Falcons program.
- The SSC Elite Club Fee is all
inclusive and already includes coaches and trainer fees. This
includes Goalkeeper training. Optional training camps may
be offered at an additional cost.
- SSC Falcons Club Fees do not include
coaches and trainers fees. Goalkeeper training is included
in the club fees. The coaches/trainer
fees can vary from team to team and may be between $0-75 per
per month per player while the team is training. Parents should
inquire about coaches/training fees no matter what team or
club they are trying out for.
- How much travel is involved?
-- This depends on the level of play for the team and number of
tournaments.
- Premier teams competing in the Washington State Premier
League (WSPL) will play teams throughout the state. Normally
this involved 4-7 trips to western Washington during league
and possible overnight stay.
- Select teams competing in the District 6 league will normally
play games in eastern Washington and northern Idaho. For the
most part there is no overnight stay involved.
- Tournaments are normally planned in advance. We recommend
that you speak with the coach on their tournament plans at
tryouts.
