Select Soccer
U11-U19 Boys and Girls

Select soccer is a competitive level play. Players go through a tryout process to play for SSC Select teams. Tryouts are held annually to select the team. If there is more than one team at the select level, every player has an opportunity to decide which coach they prefer to play for. The coach ultimately has the decision at tryouts who they would like to pick on their team.

Select Soccer starts at U11 and continues on to U19. U11-U14 play a Fall and Spring season. U15 and up (high school ages); Boys play in the Fall and Girls play in the Spring.

Tournament schedule is team based and should be checked with the coach. Practices typically consist of twice a week in the Fall and Spring. The practices in the summer are determined upon tournament schedule. For the Winter season the option of Futsal and Indoor are available.

The names of all Select teams are SSC Elite (Gender) (Age) (Coaches Last name) - as an example SSC Elite B96 Cooper

Team Cost:

  • $150 - is the association fee that covers fields usage, referees, league fee, secondary insurance, risk management checks etc. This fee covers both Fall and Spring season. This cost can vary a few dollars based upon the number of players. For teams only playing one season this fee would be slightly less (ie; high school boys or girls.)
  • Tournaments can run about $25-$35 per tournament per player. Not every teams does tournaments. It is up to the team for the number of tournaments they would like to participate in. Most recreational teams do one tournament a year.
  • Indoor and Futsal are during the winter and our completely optional. These costs can vary based upon what facility and league the team wants to play in.
  • Team cost are typically the same for any select team or club a player elects to play on.

 Club Cost:

  • $195 for U11 and $395 for U12-U19 - is the club cost. A curriculum for each team based upon the needs of each individual team. The learning of age appropriate development and goals. The club cost covers the daily operation of the club as well as a professional coach or professional trainer for your team. All SSC Elite Select teams will have either a professional trainer or a professional coach for each select team. Also includes Goalkeeper training during the season.

Cost Analysis:

  • Each player will be paying roughly $3 an hour for professional instruction! One of the most cost effective, affordable, life learning, team building, competitive, and FUN ways for a child to play a sport and have professional instruction!
  • For professional training anywhere else locally, typically the charge would be $40 to $75 per player, per month, for professional instruction. Including club dues, and six months of training, the cost would range between $390-$600 for just fees (no team or uniform fees.)
  • SSC maintains the ability to keep SSC Select training affordable and cost effective at $395 for the year, with donations and sponsorships throughout the community.
  • SSC will have the most qualified staff member instructing at that age, making it by far the best value.
