He shows up to every college aged training where former SSC players, from former and current Division I to Junior College players, train with current SSC players. Brian’s hard work is paying off. He deserves this."
Brian played on the Idaho State ODP team, and at regional camp in early July he was one of the talented few that was selected into the pool.
Idaho State Director of Coaching Steve Adlard talking about Brian, “We are delighted he has been selected to the Region 4 pool and holdover camp. This is a great honor and his play at the Camp was such that he fully deserved to be selected. The level of play in the Region is phenomenal and he will become an even better player instantly from playing with this level of player. He has a bright future and we hope that he will be followed by many more great players.”
At the end of the month Brian will be flying to Ontario, CA to participate in the camp with the best of the best of the west coast. He will have the opportunity to play and train with some of the best youth players in the US.
SSC Director Abbas Faridnia added, "What an accomplishment for Brian. He joins a long line of SSC players that have made the Region IV pool. His name goes up there with former SSC players such as Billy Sleeth (Chicago Fire,) Zach Kingsley (Colorado Rapids,) Evan Cummings (University of Washington,) to name a few. His dedication to the game shows with his accomplishment. Plus he gets first hand knowledge of what it takes to achieve and maintain this level, with his current SSC coach also being part of the Region IV pool many years ago. Brian is also a model citizen off the field. Just a great kid!"
Best of luck Brian at the camp.
